Chewit Well Mummers

Another seasonal Mummers team from the Harrogate area. I am not involved in this team, but the players are friends and acquaintances drawn largely from the Claro Sword and Morris Men and the Great Yorkshire Morris Men. The play performed is based on that performed for many years by City of Bradford Mummers.

Their title is a play on words of the name of one the wells famous in Harrogate's spa history, namely - Tewit Well.
